NO COUNTRY CAN SURVIVE WITH BENIN REPUBLIC AS NEIGHBOUR

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has spoken out about the high level of smuggling of goods into Nigeria through the Republic of Benin.

Dangote who spoke at a stakeholders’ session in Lagos between the private sector and the Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.

He said, “Smuggling is killing Nigeria and most of these smuggled goods come from the Benin Republic. There is no country that can survive with Benin Republic as a neighbour.
