President Obama’s daughter Malia Obama has decided to be known for other things apart from being the daughter of the President of the most powerful country in the world. Malia started work as production assistant to Halle Berry in the TV series ‘Extant’. The TV program is also being sponsored by Steven Spielberg.
According to The Wrap, the President’s eldest daughter “helped with computer shop alignments and the director also let her slate a take,” a set source told the website.
The President and the First Lady visited their daughter in California over the weekend.
Their youngest daughter, 13-year-old Sasha, didn’t make the trip.
In a New Yorker profile earlier this year, Mr Obama outed Malia as an aspiring film maker, and a fan of HBO’s “Girls.”
Obama insisted he and his wife were not “particularly conservative” and “not prudes” when it came to the entertainment they allow their teenage girls to indulge in, but he said he did want them to have some boundaries.
“Kids with structure have an easier time of it,” he said.
